The Basil and Becky Educational Foundation (BBEEF) is planning the next national screening of Invisible Warriors: African American Women in World War II  and invite you to step into history with us on April 6, 2026, at 8:00 PM (EDT), from the comfort of your own home.

Join us for an extraordinary evening of inspiration and empowerment as we celebrate the untold stories of remarkable Black women who shaped history during World War II. This special event, featuring the exclusive screening of Invisible Warriors: African American Women in World War II, pays homage to the 600,000 Black “Rosie the Riveters” whose resilience and strength changed the employment landscape for all future generations of African American women.

Highlights of 2025

  • Exclusive Premiere: We hosted the premiere of the nationwide screening of the remarkable documentary, Invisible Warriors: African American Women in World War II, the film that brings to life Black Women’s triumphs and challenges during a critical era in American history.
  • Notable Special Guests: We engaged in enlightening discussions with esteemed panelists who shared insights into the impact of Black women in the workforce, both then and now.
  • New Partnerships: We collaborated with public schools, universities, cultural institutions and corporations — in the United States and globally — to host screenings of Invisible Warriors: African American Women in World War II and facilitate discussions about the film’s historical significance.
